Top 5 Wednesday XX: Books I Want to Re-Read

T5W is hosted by the admins of the Goodreads group Top 5 Wednesday.

For those of you who know me well will be aware that I don’t re-read books. It’s not my thing. But for the following I will more than likely make an exception for one of these days…

Harry Potter

I listened to the first book years ago, then quickly devoured the rest of the series before my family could spoil anything. I was one of those kids that wasn’t allowed to read Harry Potter when I was younger because heaven forbid…witchcraft! Right. So now that the fandom has risen up from the ashes with the publication of The Cursed Child and the release of the Fantastic Beasts film, I feel I should go back and reread the series sometime next year…

The Chronicles of Narnia

This was the first series I ever read, back in middle school when I was struggling to find a good book. My mom read them along with me and its a nice memory I share with her, being able to enjoy these books together. I’ve actually read or listened to Prince Caspian on multiple occasions.

Percy Jackson

I read this shortly after reading the Harry Potter books, and I loved it just as much. I haven’t ever gotten to any of his other stories, but I may do so one day. I definitely would like to reread Percy Jackson, even if it’s just the first book.

The Raven Cycle

I just finished The Raven King last month, and I have to say, my emotions were seriously toyed with during this series. But I loved every minute of it. I would like to eventually go back and reread this entire series, specifically The Dream Thieves & The Raven King. I would like to review them all one day as well.

Carry On

I discovered Rainbow Rowell last year, and her Fangirl seriously helped me out of a reading slump while I was relocating my room and struggling with school. I just related so much to the characters and I loved the whole fanfiction angle. So when I heard that Carry On was coming out, I nearly died. This book.
